What is paraphrasing? Paraphrasing means saying the same idea in different words. In IELTS Reading, the statements and questions are paraphrased versions of the text. To match them, look for the same meaning, not the same words.

🎯 How to match paraphrased statements
💡 IELTS tip: A paragraph can contain the same words but a different idea. Always read the sentence around your match and compare every part of the statement (who, what, when, how many) before you choose.
